Amazing restaurant! Amazing stuff very friendly and if u tell them ur there for a special occasion they make it even more special for you ???? would definitely be coming back.
The staff are incredibly helpful and keen to make sure guests have a good experience. I ordered pasta and it was delicious. My fellow diners were not so fortunate as the liver was served well done in spite of my friend asking for it to be cooked medium rare. On complaining the manager explained the liver was precooked and it was not possible to serve it otherwise. He was apologetic and removed the cost from the bill. He also told us that the prawns were bought frozen from a shop in Upminster so the poo line was intact and beyond their control. I’m not sure the prices reflect the fact that the food isn’t fresh, but the pasta was excellent.

Fancied Italian tonight so we decided to try Alex's in Hornchurch. Had meatballs for starters and the portions were massive. Used to having a couple on a plate with a sprinkle of herbs and tomato sauce, these came as a large generous portion in a bowl. Probably the best meatballs ive ever had and I just about managed the lasagne as a main. The plan was to also have dessert but seriously had no room for it. The staff were very welcoming and attentive so we will definitely be back soon, and the next time I go, I'll make sure I skip lunch.
